Storyboard- sheet 4
th shot Cut from the door to the back door showing my character isn't doing what my audience thinks they are going to do it’s a close up to show the different showing there is a still a bit of anger so my character cant face their parent still showing my characters emotions as the actor/actress still wants to be on their own to show they want to blow steam etc what people do in real life relating back to my audience.
st /22nd shot Cuts to my actor/actress being outside with bright colours from the plants and the sun on the character show change but also still plays with irony of having a bad day on a good day ‘happy day’ but not for my character, it’s a long take and tracking shot as we follow the actor/actress along the garden so its ‘safe haven like’ and they stil down similar to the brick wall shot a while ago zooms in on the posture and show they are more relaxed less tense calming down and we actually see the face to show change . Cut to next shot.
rd shot Cut to the character still sitting on the grass with the sun beaming down all is going well and the audience things are going great for the character, but then gets soaked by water which looks like from next door shows humour added to the video near the end to show how the character has changed emotionally, expressions change. Cut to next scene.
th/25th shot Cuts to the actor/actress standing up looking happy but also embarrassed as they are wet almost shocked and as soon as they stand up a ball from next door also hits her on the head and looks like the character cant believe that this is happening to them but also my character doesn’t look moody about it they look happy to show my character is taking it on the chin idea cuts to next shot.
th/27th shot A tracking shot and long take as we follow the character and we the parent again and so this looks like the changing moment as my character apologises and they hug and shows the family bond and love between them, it’s a heart warming moment in the video which the audience will get and relate to my audience and the camera zooms on the hugging to show this idea of families pulling together always there for you etc. Cut to next shot.
th shot We get cut to this medium close up of the parent character miming the ‘you had a bad day lyrics’ to the teenage actor/actress and they are almost smiling about because they know its true and that they are laughing about show they have made up. Also miming the lyrics shows a link to the lyrics to the music video to show the song is linked all the way through. Cut to next shot.
